Interests

As well as my interest in all things creative and obviously everything connected with art and design, I love other creative pursuits such as drawing, painting, photography and cooking.


I am a keen reader and love Charles Dicken's novels. Dickens appeals specifically because of his descriptive writing, which gives the people in his novels a caricature quality and as a designer and illustrator this appeals. I also love Shakespeare and have read a number of his plays.


I also have an interest in history and specifically genealogy and have traced my own family as well as friends, friends of family and extended family's ancestry. I love this subject as I love both research and history.


I love nature and spend every spring and summer growing vegetables, mainly tomatoes.


In 2012 I began to meditate and follow a system of daily meditation as I had seen the benefits of this practice in other people and tried it. It is because of this that I now read a lot. I believe that it gives you a greater sense of focus and creativity, which is also great for my work.
